GIVING BACK TO YOUR FOLLOWERS: In Style has one of the largest Twitter follower bases of all fashion magazine-related Twitter feeds, with nearly 1 million people signed up (comparatively, WWD has over 1.1 million, while Elle has 33,000 Twitter followers; W has 24,000 followers; Cosmopolitan, 16,000; Glamour, 10,000 and Harper’s Bazaar, 5,000. Vogue doesn’t have a Twitter account).

Now to generate even more followers, In Style will offer a chance to win one of 200 items from shopbop.com, thefairest.com; Ole Henricksen, and Victoria’s Secret. For four days beginning Wednesday, the first 50 followers to re-tweet a special message provided on the InStyle Twitter feed will receive a prize from one of these retailers.
