"Elvis is Titanic" is an account of the semester Klaus spent teaching U.S. history and English to Kurdish students at Salahaddin University in Arbil, the largest city in Iraqi Kurdistan. PLANNING AHEAD: There are no guarantees yet, but Condé Nast Publications chief operating officer John Bellando said Friday that the company may construct a new office tower at Hudson Yards in Manhattan. And while the development would not be completed for roughly 10 years, Condé Nast has agreed to join forces with the Durst Organization and Vornado Realty Group, who will submit a request for proposal to develop the West Side Rail Yard. The winning proposal will be selected sometime during the first quarter of next year. In the announcement, Bellando added, "...our participation would provide Condé Nast with the opportunity to secure prime space in this exciting development." But who would design the cafeteria this time? — A.W.
