The public relations executive has launched KP McGregor Consulting, a communications and marketing firm that focuses on the luxury, fashion, lifestyle and art sectors. McGregor, whose venture is based in New York, is no stranger to fashion circles. His most recent gig was Versace’s Milan-based group director of communications and p.r., and prior, he was vice president of public relations at BCBG Max Azria Group. Before that, he also worked at LaForce & Stevens, Vivienne Westwood and Staff USA.
McGregor, who was also just named cochair of the Whitney Contemporaries of the Whitney Museum of American Art, is working with a roster of clients that includes Alejandro Ingelmo, Halston, swimwear brand Flagpole and artist Mark Fox, as well as a film project by Maggie Betts.
