MASTHEAD UPHEAVAL: Publishing changes are on the horizon at Condé Nast, and all eyes are on Brides. Rumors have been circling the title for a while but sources insist Carolyn Kremins, vice president and publisher, is expected to move to another magazine within the company, while editor in chief Millie Martini Bratten will likely move on. “Kremins is well liked and ambitious,” said one insider. “She’ll be incredibly strategic with her next move.”
Meanwhile, over at Lucky, there are murmurs that Michelle Myers’ job is on the line, ever since news came out that Bill Wackermann, executive vice president, could take on the title and add it to his growing stable, which includes Glamour, Bon Appétit, Details and W.
A Brides spokeswoman could not be reached, while a Lucky spokeswoman declined comment.
