LUNCH HOUR: Top brass from Condé Nast flocked to the Lamb’s Club in Manhattan for lunch Thursday. The eatery played host to Vogue editor in chief and Condé Nast artistic director Anna Wintour, who chatted with tablemates Tommy Hilfiger and Harry Slatkin between bites of her chicken paillard. Wintour and guests occupied the corner table closest to the door, good for a quick exit. Sitting in the corner in the back of the restaurant, Stefano Tonchi, W’s editor in chief, held court with a large group, while Glamour’s editor in chief Cindi Leive and publisher Connie Anne Phillips made a bee-line to the other covetable corner spot.
Other notables dining chez Lamb’s Club included Dawn Ostroff, Condé Nast Entertainment president; Nancy Novogrod, editor in chief of Travel + Leisure, who ate lunch with Hal Rubenstein, InStyle’s editor at large, and a dapper Jason Pomeranc, cofounder of the Thompson Hotel Group.
With all the Condé editors at the Lamb’s Club, the question is: Who was eating in the Frank Gehry-designed cafeteria at 4 Times Square a few doors away?
