Karen Duffy, Zac Posen’s vice president of communications, left the company on Monday. “It is with great sadness that I leave such an amazing company, but my position has been eliminated,” Duffy said in an e-mail she sent out Monday.
Before Posen, Duffy held senior positions at Karla Otto, Christian Dior, Valentino and Barneys New York.
“I look forward to working and seeing you all again in the near future,” Duffy said in the e-mail.
Meanwhile, Zac Posen chairman Susan Posen explained that Alexandra Smith recently joined the company as Director of public relations and celebrity, and Susan Posen will continue to work on marketing initiatives for the brand. "We're excited by what's on our plate for the next six Months," Susan Posen said.
