Randy Kabat Joins Advanstar Fashion Group

KABAT TO ADVANSTAR: Randy Kabat, senior vice president of brand partner marketing at Rue La La, has joined Advanstar Fashion Group as vice president of marketing, a new post. She will oversee creative services, digital strategies and communications for the Fashion Group, which includes Magic, Project, FN Platform, WWDMagic, Sourcing at Magic, Magic/Mens and Pool. Kabat, who reports to Tom Florio, chief executive officer of Advanstar, will develop and oversee new business initiatives.

In addition, Tommy Fazio, president of Project and Menswear, has tapped Kenny Mac as show director of S.L.A.T.E. and Street, a new post. He had been founder and creative director of Creative Contraband, a lifestyle and brand development firm.
