HERRERA HIRE: Carolina Herrera tapped Emilie Rubinfeld as vice president of global marketing and communications, a newly created title at the New York-based firm. Rubinfeld was most recently senior vice president of marketing and communications at Akris and, prior to that, she served as vice president of marketing at Giorgio Armani Corp. At Carolina Herrera, she is spearheading the marketing, advertising and public relations efforts as well as special events, digital communications, and VIP relations. Rubinfeld reports to president Caroline Brown, who she previously worked with at Akris and Giorgio Armani.
