HERE AND NOW: Jessica Michault, who spent more than a decade covering fashion alongside Suzy Menkes at the International Herald Tribune, is moving on. Michault has been named editor in chief of the Web site and magazine Nowfashion.com, which uploads film footage and images from runway shows and other fashion events online, in real time. Michault worked for the IHT for the past 16 years, starting as a research assistant and eventually taking on the role of online style editor. In her new job, she’ll be writing, and overseeing writers.
Michault said the site, which was founded two years ago by Valerio Mezzanotti and Valerio Nappi, will aim to offer an “interactive experience, not just posting show reviews but uploading the runway music and allowing viewers to click through and buy.” She will continue working for the IHT on a freelance basis.
