HEARST CIRCULATION: On Tuesday, Hearst Magazines finally revealed its digital circulation on the tablet. The company reported a paid digital circulation per month on the tablet and e-readers — including platforms such as iTunes, B&N Nook Color and Zinio Newsstand — of 300,000. At Hearst, print subscribers do not get free access to the digital magazines editions, for brands such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Food Network Magazine, Popular Mechanics and O, The Oprah Magazine. Each is sold separately. This isn’t the case at Condé Nast, where print subscribers get free access to digital editions. At Condé, digital circulation is now at 500,000 per month, according to a spokeswoman; however, 225,000 are digital-only subscribers.
