GWYNETH’S TURN: With her bright blonde hair and big smile, Gwyneth Paltrow looks very all-American in her new ads for Coach — but they won’t be seen on U.S. soil. Well, at least in print. The ads, shot by Peter Lindbergh on a rooftop in Midtown Manhattan, will break in the international editions of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair and InStyle, to name a few. The campaign is timed to the opening of the brand’s flagship on New Bond Street in London.
“Gwyneth embodies American style and spirit around the globe,” said Jason Weisenfeld, senior vice president, global brand communications and collaborations. “Coach is celebrating its 70th anniversary as an iconic American brand, so we couldn’t ask for a better international ambassador than Gwyneth.”
