Giorgio Armani has accepted an invitation to head the jury panel that will choose the logo of Expo 2015 in Milan, said the exhibition’s chief executive officer, Giuseppe Sala, in an interview with Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera. Armani will judge entries from a contest aimed at design school students. “We asked Giorgio Armani because of his experience, creativity and reputation,” said Sala.
Two-time Oscar winner Dante Ferretti is working on the look of the two paths along which the pavilions will stand, and architect Daniel Libeskind will design the front doors.
Neither Giorgio Armani nor the Expo spokesmen were available for comment.
