DENIM DAY: Those Jaggers are a busy bunch: As papa Mick staged an encore performance with the Rolling Stones in Hyde Park Saturday, his progeny are busy tackling projects of their own. Georgia May Jagger, whose mother is Jerry Hall, once again appears in the upcoming Hudson Jeans ads that broke on Monday.
This time, young Jagger stars alongside the model Jon Kortajarena in the autumn campaign — Hudson’s first in black-and-white — shot by Sebastian Kim with art direction by Patrizio Micelli and the Al Dente agency. The mood of the campaign is similar to that of last season, with Hudson channeling a carefree spirit.
“We wanted to create a campaign that revolved around our brand mantra of “Let yourself go,” and [that] visually set the tone which we could build on, season after season,” said Ben Taverniti, Hudson’s creative director. “We chose black and white photography to start because of its minimally beautiful aesthetic and nature.”

The campaign was be released globally on Monday, although Hudson declined to give details about the titles and outlets in which it will appear. The brand also plans to run an Instagram contest that involves participants uploading images of themselves “letting go.”
On Thursday, Jagger will host an event to mark the campaign’s launch at Hudson’s new store in the denim studio at Selfridges. “I dress jeans up with a pair of heels, a great sparkly top or a jacket, and some lipstick,” said Jagger. “For daytime, I like to wear them with trainers or biker boots, a T-shirt and a leather jacket.”
