CREATIVE CHIEF AT HEARST: Neeraj Khemlani has been tapped as senior vice president and chief creative officer of Hearst Corp., a new post. He will work with Hearst’s creative teams, managers and group heads across digital and print platforms.
In digital development, Khemlani will work with Phil Wiser, Hearst’s senior vice president and chief technology officer. Khemlani has been with Hearst Entertainment & Syndication as executive vice president and deputy group head focused on expanding the company’s nonfiction television production activities. He joined Hearst in 2009 as vice president and special assistant to the chief executive officer of digital media. Earlier, he was vice president and general manager of Yahoo News and Information, as well as Yahoo Originals and was a producer for CBS News’ “60 Minutes” and “60 Minutes II.”
