NEW FRONTIER: Clements Ribeiro has created its first Web campaign to mark the re-launch of its e-commerce site, which is set to go live Friday, the first day of London Fashion Week. “We are very serious about our Web site and shop because the Web is still virgin territory, to a degree, and we are a small, independent company, so this is a way for us to connect with our customers without intermediaries,” said Inacio Ribeiro. “We are excited about being on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram — my favorite — about being truly independent and being in touch with our customers.”

The campaign was photographed by longtime Clements Ribeiro collaborator Uli Weber. The images depict two models as twins, inspired by Wes Anderson’s “Moonlight Kingdom.” The film’s heroine, Suzie Bishop, was the muse for the spring collection. Clements Ribeiro’s latest collection was inspired by a road trip that Ribeiro and Suzanne Clements took across the U.S. last year, driving from Boston to Seattle, crossing 15 states.
