CHARLES IN CHARGE: The masthead at Country Life magazine will soon receive a royal nod of approval. The Prince of Wales is scheduled to guest edit the November 13th issue. The edition is set to be published on his 65th birthday and will feature an exclusive interview with His Royal Highness. Editorial meetings with Charles are due to happen soon to discuss his duties as editor. “Since its launch in 1897, Country Life has been privileged to be given access to the Royal Family at times of national celebrations. However, this is the first time that a member of the Royal Family has edited the magazine or any other publication,” said Mark Hedges, editor. “The Prince of Wales has been a great supporter of Country Life and its ideals over many decades, and has always taken a close interest in what we do, so we’re delighted, at last, to be able to call on his wise input and creativity.”
With a circulation of 38,246, Country Life is a weekly publication, owned by IPC Media, that focuses on English countryside culture.
