BON APP UNCORKED: Bon Appétit will preview its Vegas Uncork’d culinary festival Thursday night with a party to honor Bobby Flay’s newest restaurant, Gato at 324 Lafayette Street in New York. The restaurant is still under construction and due to open in March.
In its eighth year, Uncork’d, which takes place from May 8 to 11 in Las Vegas, is not only the most lucrative event for Bon Appétit, but it’s also said to be one of the most lucrative of all Condé Nast events. This year, the foodie festival will include a slew of events at hotels such as Caesars Palace, The Venetian, The Bellagio, MGM Grand and Aria.
According to Bon Appétit, 31 events are on tap, ranging from a “collaborative” dinner with Flay and Giada de Laurentiis, a lunch with Thomas Keller, “celebrity golf and beers and boozy shakes” with Mario Batali and a baking event with Buddy Valastro from TV show “Cake Boss,” which is dubbed “Baking with The Boss.”
Available for purchase at vegasuncorked.com, tickets range from $80 to $775, with tickets for some of the more elite events priced upwards of $5,000.
