BROOKLYN-BOUND: After more than nine years in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, Art Partner will relocate to Brooklyn’s City Point development project in February. The artists management and creative content agency has secured a 15-year lease for 10,000 square feet.

With an arsenal of talent that includes Mario Testino, Mert and Marcus Piggott, Mario Sorrenti, David Sims, Terry Richardson, Jane How, Joe McKenna, Camilla Nickerson and others, Art Partner has outgrown its 155 Sixth Avenue offices and the lease is up at the end of the year, according to chief executive officer Marianne Tesler. The agency’s 30-person New York staff handles 1,500 jobs a year compared with 1,000 two years ago, she said. Art Partner also has 20 other employees in Paris and London, and the agency may open an office in China.

While not a Brooklynite herself, Tesler said, “It’s vibrant. There is a lot happening there now. I love to go to the restaurants, to the shows and to the theaters. A lot of people [we work with] live in Brooklyn already, but we feel it’s new, fresh and a bit pioneerish. It’s pretty exciting.”

Bernheimer Architecture will design Art Partner’s new space, which has 18-foot ceilings and loads of natural light. As City Point’s first office tenant, Art Partner will be in the company of such retailers as Armani Exchange and Century 21. Washington Square Partners’ Paul Travis reflects the creative class that City Point is trying to attract.
