A NEW RECIPE: Condé Nast has acquired ZipList, a suite of tech tools already used by those who frequent sites such as marthastewart.com or Simply Recipes. ZipList allows recipes gathered on these sites and more to be placed in a universal recipe box that can be exported into a shopping list. ZipList has 6,500 partners, and now Condé Nast — or, more specifically, Epicurious, Bon Appétit and Gourmet Live — is its biggest client. “Our goal is to build ZipList as an independent company while collaborating with our food brands to integrate its core technology, and to create partnerships that allow other companies to do the same,” said Condé Nast president Bob Sauerberg.
