Women’s Wear Daily today launches an iPhone edition that is offered through Apple’s Newsstand.
The iPhone app is similar to WWD’s iPad app, with content coming from the daily newspaper and the latest updates from WWD.com.
New issues will be automatically downloaded at 3 a.m. eastern standard time. Once downloaded, each issue can be read offline.
WWD subscribers can access the iPad and iPhone editions, which will be included in existing WWD print and online subscriptions. Nonsubscribers can choose a bundled WWD subscription package that includes print, digital, iPad and iPhone for $169 a year at wwd.com/subscribe, or purchase only the iPhone and iPad subscription for $129.99 a year or $12.99 a month at wwd.com/app.
