I-ELLA, the invitation-only online marketplace where users can buy, sell, borrow or swap clothing and accessories, wants to help its users with the New Year’s Eve outfit selection process. I-Ella.com curated a selection of pre-owned pieces – ranging from metallic Lanvin pumps for $270 (from $1,040) to a Foley & Corinna dress for just $80 (from $350) – that users can either buy, borrow for a small fee or swap for something from their own closets. An added bonus: Ten percent of the Web site’s revenue goes to charity.
True Religion revealed its first iPhone app, allowing users to search available product, make purchases and share the products they like via social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter. The app was developed by mobile retail software provider Global Bay, who has also worked with brands such as Coach and Timberland.
