Fairchild Fashion Media has added three blogs to its NowManifest network at nowmanifest.com.
Jane Aldridge’s Sea of Shoes and Yvan Rodic’s Facehunter launched on Sept. 10 and Susanna Lau’s Style Bubble is slated to launch later this fall.
NowManifest is already home to a host of blogs, including Rumi Neely’s Fashiontoast, Bryan Grey Yambao’s Bryanboy, Derek Blasberg’s Mr. Blasberg and Elin Kling’s Style by Kling as well as Anna Dello Russo and Industrie Magazine.
Will Schenck, vice president and chief revenue officer of Fairchild Fashion Media, parent of WWD, said the three additions each “bring a different facet to the network.”
“We love their traffic; we love their engagement [with followers],” Schenck said. “There are probably about 10 really important bloggers, and the majority of them are on NowManifest.”
According to Schenck, NowManifest has seen a 42 percent increase in ad revenue since its acquisition in May of last year.
“It’s really quite a different proposition from other blog collectives and I believe it’s the only one that allows individual voices in fashion blogging to flourish,” said Lau, who founded Style Bubble in 2006.
