The 2014 Femmy Awards held at Cipriani 42nd Street pulled in more than 600 retail and innerwear executives.

The gala cocktail and dinner is an annual event in February where industry leaders are lauded for their contributions to the intimate apparel industry as well as community service.

Hosted by comedienne Caroline Rhea, this year’s honorees included Hudson’s Bay Co. and Lord & Taylor, which was named Retailer of the Year. MaryAnne Morin, group senior vice president for the retailer, accepted the award.

Other honorees included Jockey International for the Innovation Award, which was accepted by Debra S. Waller, the firm’s chairman and chief executive officer, and Delta Galil USA Ltd., which was named Manufacturer of the Year. Delta’s ceo Isaac Dabah accepted the award.

Edward Meyer, president of Iluna USA LLC, was on hand for Supplier of the Year, and Seth Morris, president and ceo of The Carole Hochman Design Group, a division of Komar, received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The organization also saluted Roslyn Harte, president of Lances Harte Inc., with a President’s Award. Harte, who is celebrating more than 60 years in the intimate apparel industry — as well as her 90th birthday — had been a dedicated mentor to hundreds of innerwear professionals and has nurtured many careers over the decades.

The Femmy’s, which are presented by The Underfashion Club, also held its 11th Annual Student Design contest, featuring the designs of Fashion Institute of Technology students. The students’ garments were displayed that evening.

Design student Cristina Ramos was named first-prize winner, while Marie Heffernan won second prize. Danielle Ortiz took third place. Finalists included Sarah Davis, Demi Chang and Lauren Amatulli.
