Sandra Oh in Vera Wang and Loree Rodkin jewelry.

Forget-Me-Nots
Minimalism was the night's big trend, as most actresses paraded down the red carpet unburdened by the customary bling. Jewelry seemed so little a concern that several stars (Jaime Pressly included) temporarily forgot when asked whose baubles they'd borrowed. Save for a few statement pieces such as Helen Mirren's Fred Leighton choker and Sandra Oh's Loree Rodkin chains, ears and necklines were left au naturel and most chose to accessorize with bold cuffs and cocktail rings.

Soft Touch
The top three hair trends on Sunday? Soft, sleek and superstyled.

Jenna Fischer and Sarah Chalke opted for feminine, natural-looking waves pinned back loosely, while stars such as Kyra Sedgwick and Evangeline Lilly let long, loose curls flow past their shoulders. On the other end of the spectrum, Ellen Pompeo and Mariska Hargitay opted for stick-straight styles and drama queens Tyra Banks and Katherine Heigl worked ultraglam Old Hollywood updos to a fine effect.
