NIGHT OWLS: Trust the fashion crowd to squeeze every last second out of Paris’ annual Nuit Blanche, an annual all-night arts festival. Festivities kicked off Saturday at Maria Luisa’s new outpost in Printemps, where scores of designers and hipsters scoured the racks, Champagne in hand. “I’m looking at a fur coat of mine over there and I didn’t even know we were stocked here,” laughed Rick Owens, who came to the soiree with his mother, Connie Owens. “I love to invite [my parents] to fashion week because they get the impression my life is always like this.”

Christopher Kane
said he planned to take in the Givenchy show. “Riccardo [Tisci] and I get on very well. I gave him one of my monkey T-shirts and he gave me a pair of shoes,” Kane said.

Other guests included Nicolas Ghesquière, Gareth Pugh and Lazaro Hernandez, while designer Charles Anastase spun a collection of vintage French tracks. “My favorite is Serge Gainsbourgs ‘Beau Oui Comme Bowie,’ sung by Isabelle Adjani,” said Anastase, who collaborated with Longchamp on a couple of bags. “They feature kitten and ballerina prints.”

Across town at the Pierre Hardy party, guests including Amanda Harlech and her daughter, Tallulah Ormsby-Gore; Joana Preiss, and Marc Newson kicked up their heels — or sneakers. “I like white sneakers,” Ghesquière said. “There is something very graphic about them.” Former Japanese soccer star Hidetoshi Nakata, who knows a thing or two about sneakers, owning more than 100 pairs, said he was busy with his new charity, Take Action Foundation, aimed at helping develop poor areas through soccer.

Meanwhile, entertainment execs Kevin Wendle and Graham Larson and TV host Mary Alice Haney welcomed the likes of Katy Perry, Prince Wenzeslaus of Liechtenstein, Antoine Arnault and Hélène de Fougerolles to enjoy panoramic views of Paris from Wendle’s Left Bank apartment, although actor Olivier Martinez had other things on his mind. “I’m dying for pizza,” he confessed, unimpressed with the hors d’oeuvres. De Fougerolles said she was working on a new film called “Sommeil Blanc.”
