On Thursday night, Mick Jagger hosted a dinner for his lady love, L’Wren Scott, who presented her collection earlier in the day. “My show’s all done at the beginning of the week, so I’d be happy to do it the first day [of fashion week],” said the leggy stylist. Jimmy Fallon, Ellen Barkin, Narciso Rodriguez, John Currin, Rachel Feinstein and Lorne Michaels joined the couple for pasta and roast chicken at Norwood. “Who’s not into fashion? Do I look like I’m not interested in fashion?” asked Michaels, who was dressed in Prada.

Jagger was a very attentive partner throughout the evening, making sure the room temperature was OK for his guests and toasting Scott and her staff by name. “She always supports me,” he said. “It’s sort of a two-way street, isn’t it?”

Jagger admitted Scott has influenced his sartorial sense. “I like to think I dress how I like, but it’s always nice to have people telling you who’s the new up-and-comer,” said the rock star, clad in Lanvin.

Jann Wenner and Nicolas Ghesquière (in town casting models for his Balenciaga show) scooted into the affair late, but were just in time to catch everyone singing “Happy Birthday” to Baz Luhrmann. Later, the crew headed upstairs for more drinks and dancing.
