GOING TO THE CHAPEL: On Saturday, Lulu de Kwiatkowski will wed her longtime love Alfredo Gilardini at Saint Paul the Apostle Church on Lyford Cay. Friends Alex von Furstenberg, Rachel Peters, Liz Cohen, Zani Gugelmann and Sari Gueron are jetting down to the Bahamas for the lavish weekend, culminating in a post-ceremony reception at the de Kwiatkowski estate.

Alvin Valley designed de Kwiatkowski's wedding gown, a form-fitting, Spanish-inspired lace number that took more than three months to produce. "The dress is probably one of the most intense dresses I've ever done," said the designer, who's heading to Lyford Cay later this week.

Clearly his client was pleased with and protective of the finished product. When Valley offered to bring it with him from the studio to the Bahamas, she politely declined. "She didn't trust me taking it with me," he said. "She's like, 'No, I have a seat for it and it's coming with me.'"
