The fashion flock filed into the New Museum on Tuesday night to fete the opening of "Live Forever: Elizabeth Peyton," a retrospective of the artist's trademark small-scale oil portraits, sponsored by Banana Republic. Stephanie Seymour, Debbie Harry and Rachel Feinstein milled around the two-floor exhibit, which included a rendering of Marc Jacobs (who arrived to the museum with boyfriend Lorenzo Martone). "He's the best sitter," said Peyton of the designer, who had dressed her for the occasion in a spring look from his New York runway. "He always falls asleep."
