European Labels Arrive in U.S. for Fall

Satorisan and Vico are debuting new collections in the States for fall '14.

Casual Corner
Spanish brand Satorisan is headed for the U.S. for fall '14 with a collection of men's and women's styles that emphasize casual comfort. Produced in Vietnam from leathers sourced in Italy, Spain and Argentina, the line features all-over leather looks as well as novelty combinations of leather mixed with linen and tie-dyed cotton. Inside, each shoe comes with a removable cushioned footbed with built-in arch support. Retailing from $100 to $272 for styles made of African antelope, the collection is distributed by Lantana, Los Angeles, and will deliver in August/September. The line is targeted at independent shoe stores, boutiques and department stores.

Street Wise
Artisanal brand Vico, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is launching in the U.S. for fall '14. Founded in 2012, the name is derived from the Latin word Vicus ("from the street") and features a series of novelty classics from mixed-media saddles to slip-on sneakers. All styles are handmade in Portugal and incorporate cushioned footbeds made of recycled materials. Retailing from $180 to $280, the line is aimed at high-end independents and department stores and will deliver in August.
