Television’s hottest stars shined bright for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night, and so did their evening shoe styles.
Showing off her supermodel gams with a pose reminiscent of Angelina Jolie at the Oscars, Heidi Klum stole the show in a pair of icy blue metallic Charlotte Olympia sandals. Also embracing the metallic trend were Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series nominee Tina Fey in leather platform sandals, and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama winner Claire Danes, pairing a strappy Barbara Bui style with her Lanvin gown. Even the youngest celebs couldn’t resist the metallic trend, with Kiernan Shipka of “Mad Men” walking the red carpet in silver minimalist Jimmy Choos.
Satin sheen was also a hit. Nicole Kidman, a nominee for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie, donned elegant Christian Louboutin sandals, while Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, showed off oxblood Brian Atwood platform sandals.
