Australian brand Blundstone is making tracks in Israel. The classic Chelsea boots proved a surefire way for young shoppers to navigate the busy corridors of the Mahane Yehuda market in downtown Jerusalem last week. According to Tim Engel, national sales manager for the brand in the U.S., business in Israel has tripled over the past year. “It’s off the charts,” he said, adding that the brand hopes for similar results in the U.S. in 2014, when the company will expand its product offering.
