Diane Sullivan continues to expand her role at Brown Shoe Co.

Next February, the president and CEO will become chairman when Ron Fromm steps down from that role. Fromm, who will become president and CEO of FFANY next fall, will remain a member of Brown Shoe's board of directors.

Sullivan joined Brown in 2004 and has engineered an aggressive turnaround plan at the St. Louis-based company. Last week, analysts applauded the firm's performance in the first quarter, and they expect the remainder of the year to be bright for the firm.
