The Jones Group Inc. is beefing up its executive team.
Kathy Nedorostek, formerly president of North America wholesale and global licensing at Coach Inc., will join Jones Group in the newly created role of group president of global footwear and accessories.
Nedorostek will head up expansion for Jones’ footwear, handbag and jewelry divisions. The executive, who begins work in October, will report to Richard Dickson, president and CEO of branded businesses.
“Footwear and accessories are core strategic pillars and growing segments of The Jones Group business, and we are thrilled to add Kathy’s premier brand leadership to support and direct our development in these categories,” Dickson said in a statement. “Her unparalleled experience in the industry makes her an ideal addition to our executive team as we continue to establish The Jones Group as the leading global fashion company defined by premier brands and led by exceptional talent.”
Nedorostek also will oversee operations, sales and production for the Jones brands.
“This position presents the rare opportunity to join a talented leadership team and work across a group of well-recognized footwear and accessories brands, all of which have significant growth and expansion potential,” Nedorostek said in a statement.
