Call them the dynamic duo of accessories. Siblings Jodie and Danielle Snyder have made a name for themselves in fashion with their Dannijo line of jewelry, but now the designers are looking to expand into footwear. “Our line is all about accessorizing, so footwear is the next natural progression for us,” Jodie Snyder said. “We’re really focused on shoes this year, and sooner than later we’ll be launching something.” This past fall, the sisters collaborated with Matt Bernson on a capsule collection of shoes. Here, Jodie Snyder talks about the tunes that get their creative juices flowing and cool getaway spots.

Instagram feed of choice:
“We follow a lot of our friends like Leandra Medine, the ‘Man Repeller.’”

Go-to getaway spots:
“We just got back from Tulum, Mexico, and we stayed at the spot called Coqui Coqui. It was magical. I got engaged in St. Barths last year, so I love it there. There’s also something about Paris that you can never get sick of.”

Fashion muse:
“We can’t have just one, because it’s a woman that takes our products and makes them her own. We love Kate Moss because of how her style is a mix of old and new. We also love Rashida Jones. She has great style and a great sense of humor. Beyoncé and Solange Knowles are also on the list because they’re also sisters.”

Design playlist:
“I’m not ashamed of any old-school music, like Boyz II Men. My sister finds all the cool new bands, and I like the old classic stuff. Our playlist [consists of] quite a range.”
