Jeff Cosgrove is moving up in the ranks at Foot Petals.
Parent company R.G. Barry Corp. has named Cosgrove president of the brand, effective immediately. Prior to his promotion, Cosgrove served as VP of sales and merchandising and off-price channel sales at R.G. Barry. He has been with the firm since 2008.
"Jeff has filled several critical sales and merchandising roles with us ... and we believe he is the right leader to drive continued growth in our comfort insert business while aligning that business with the vast changes currently taking place in the retail marketplace," R.G. Barry President and CEO Greg Tunney said in a statement.
Foot Petals founder Tina Aldatz, who officially exited the brand last year but continues to serve as a consultant, praised Cosgrove's background. In addition to his tenure at R.G. Barry, the new president has held executive roles at Easy Spirit and Rockport.
"His unique skill set and leadership experience will allow our team to grow the business while maintaining the original designer vision," Aldatz said.
