Cirque du Soleil continues to wow. “Zarkana” is the company’s latest production and features 250 handmade costumes, a 64-foot-long LED screen and 70 acrobatic performers. Here are a few behind-the-scenes facts about the show at the Aria Resort. 

— Costume designer Alan Hranitelj took inspiration from 1920s and 1930s art deco design.

— Many of the makeup looks require 20 different products.

— The 35 wigs in the show took as long as 50 hours each to create.

— There are 526 lighting cues during the 90-minute show.

— “Zarkana” stars 70 performers from 12 countries.
