Will Rick Cytrynbaum be the next “Fashion Star”?
NBC has picked up the reality show for a second season, and the network may have also nabbed the Modern Vintage CEO for a possible recurring appearance alongside his pal and House of Harlow 1960 business partner Nicole Richie, who will return as a mentor and judge.
“They’ve asked me to work with the designers and curate for the next season,” Cytrynbaum divulged when Spy caught up with him during FFANY.
The executive said his goal will be to help the contestants infuse their creations with their true personalities. “It’s all about authenticity,” Cytrynbaum added. “The minute something seems contrived, [retailers] don’t want it.”
