Thanks to the efforts of 22-year-old Nike-adorned athlete Alex Morgan, the U.S. women's national soccer team charged into yesterday’s World Cup championship against Japan after beating France last Wednesday. While the tourney didn’t have the same impact as 1999 — and the bra-baring Brandi Chastain — it once again ignited interest in the sport.
