FN Pick: Manolo at Bergdorf

Manolo Blahnik turned up the excitement last week at Bergdorf Goodman. The designer — who held court with the brand’s U.S. exec, George Malkemus, and the retailer’s Josh Schulman, Tracy Margolies, Linda Fargo and Nelli Terry — met with fans, signing 50 versions of his BB pump and colorful sketches. Of course, the well-known movie buff also talked film, but he wasn’t reminiscing about old Hollywood or today’s hottest starlets. Instead, he called attention to the big-screen documentary he will appear in, “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s,” coming out in May.
