FN Pick: Kenneth's Big Week

There were awards, famous friends and a runway presentation.

Kenneth Cole returned to the spotlight in a major way last week. The designer was honored Wednesday night by AmfAR, the organization he chairs, for his work to fight AIDS. The gala drew fashion personalities and politicos, from Sarah Jessica Parker and Heidi Klum to New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Cole’s brother-in-law. The next day, Cole returned to New York Fashion Week after a seven-year hiatus, putting his personal touch on everything from shoes to showmanship.
