Thrill-seeking magic man David Blaine last Monday completed his latest trick: withstanding 72 hours of electricity. Equal parts publicity and true endurance test (he stood the entire time and didn’t eat or sleep), the stunt in New York subjected Blaine to a million volts of electricity atop a 20-foot-high perch. But Blaine, who’s already survived such daring events as being buried alive and frozen in time, wasn’t totally shocked, thanks to his protective suit and New Balance’s NB Tactical 457 boots.
