QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale”
Oct. 1, 2013

From its roots as a small shoe sale in Central Park to the huge gala today, the breast cancer fundraiser has grown up. The event celebrated 20 years last Tuesday at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, and many of footwear’s biggest names were on hand. Bill Clinton was presented with the Jodi Fisher Humanitarian Award and accepted via video. Top donors The Jones Group, Brown Shoe and Vince Camuto were also recognized for their generous donations. “Life is better thanks to [your] compassion,” FFANY President Joe Moore said at the gala. In the past two decades, Shoes on Sale has raised more than $42 million.
