This actress knows how to dazzle, and now she's taken her talent to footwear. Denise Richards teamed with Shoedazzle.com to create her first shoe design: a nude, open-toe slingback pump. The $40 style, named for her youngest daughter, Eloise, sold out quickly on the site earlier this month. "This is something that can be worn in the spring and summer and even during the holidays because of the color," she said. "Even with the crystals on it, it's still a nude shoe and you can wear it with anything." Proceeds from the sales go to the Kidney Cancer Association, a cause close to Richards' heart. "My mom passed away from the disease, so it's very important to me," she said. Richards said the design process has also given her a new appreciation for some of her favorite footwear makers. "It's very hard to come up with something that hasn't been done before and that's in style, while also making a shoe that's timeless," she said. Here, Richards shares her thoughts on some of life's pleasures.

Best vacation spot:
"I love Hawaii [at right]. I love the Caribbean. I love the Bahamas. I love Anguilla. I love the sun and warm weather — anywhere that has a tropical feel."

Favorite fashion item: My cream-colored YSL handbag. It doubles as a diaper bag. I can't carry a purse and diaper bag. It's too hard."

My Last iTunes purchase: "It was for my daughters — Selena Gomez's album ['When the Sun Goes Down']. They love Selena."

Biggest Guilty pleasure: "'The Real Housewives' — of New York, New Jersey, Beverly Hills [at left], wherever."

Advice for other working moms:
"You have to take the pressure off yourself. If you try to make everything perfectly balanced, that can create guilt. When I'm working, things give at home and when I'm home, things give at work."

Must-check websites: "I love home-shopping sites like One Kings Lane and HauteLook. I like to look at the daily sales they have going for the house."
