As Camuto Group continues to experience rapid growth, the company has made a series of promotions.
Alex DelCielo, COO, has added the president’s title. In his expanded role, DelCielo will run the global design and production teams, and oversee retail and merchandising as well as e-commerce and human resources. All division presidents report to him.
DelCielo, who leads day-to-day operations at the company with CFO Jeff Howald, said he was eager to take this next step.
“As one of the original members of Camuto Group, I am excited to … layer on the president’s role to lead the business forward strategically through partnerships and brand extensions that further drive the company's global growth,” DelCielo said. “Working for Vince for the past 25 years has taught me what it takes to build the infrastructure for the product, the sourcing and the various branded businesses.”
Within the ranks of the branded division, Ed Ferrell, formerly president of Vince Camuto Footwear, has been named group president of Vince Camuto Footwear brands, which include Vince Camuto, VC Signature and the Louise et Cie lines.
In addition, Christina Santoro, formerly VP of Lucky Brand Footwear, has been named president of Lucky Brand Footwear. Greg Morel, formerly VP of international, has been promoted to president of international. Julio Martini, who has been directing sourcing for the firm, has been named SVP of global sourcing. Leah Robert, previously SVP of licensing and marketing, is now EVP of licensing and marketing.
