Even after switching from Bravo to the Lifetime Network, Heidi Klum’s “Project Runway” show continued to have the biggest influence on the fashion world, according to 29 percent of shoe players. Not only has the TV reality series given us the talents of designers like Jay McCarroll and Christian Siriano (who wowed audiences this year at Fashion Week, on Oprah’s couch and in Payless stores) but it has also led to a forthcoming lifestyle brand from Klum herself (see page 13 for more). Other shows that moved the fashion needle were “Mad Men,” with 26 percent of votes, and “Gossip Girl,” which nabbed 24 percent of votes.
