Steve Madden has a serious passion for music, so it’s no surprise that he’s brought in a host of big-name acts for company parties and in-store concerts over the years. Among the most memorable was a 2006 blow-out bash in Las Vegas, featuring The Killers. More recently, the firm — and its music division — has hosted events with some of today’s fastest-rising pop stars, including Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Outside of the music realm, Madden is a regular on the footwear event circuit, making the rounds with his partner-in-crime (and company brand director) Rob Schmertz.
