Lamo Sheepskin of Los Angeles is expanding its offering for fall with the launch of Dije, a collection of Australian merino sheepskin boots (at left), beach flip-flops and sheepskin scuffs, all detailed with interchangeable handcrafted jewelry. Each pair comes with a set of detachable charms inspired by nature and designed around stones such as seed pearls and jade (additional charms are available for purchase). “I wanted to take the classic, basic [surfer boot] and give the wearer the option to dress it up or down,” said designer Martine Fennelly. “Dije reflects modernity — a combination of comfort, fashion and individuality.” The fall collection comes in gray-ice, black-diamond, fireplace-red and hot-chocolate. Dije retails from $40 to $200 for the shoes and $15 to $30 for the charms. Delivery is set for April to boutiques and department stores.
