Balenciaga’s open-toe, lace-up boots made from fused leather gave an edgier urban feel compared with last season’s lug-sole booties with scarf ankle ties. Meanwhile, Nina Ricci’s lace booties left a romantic impression with ribbon ankle ties and curved heels. And Balmain’s lace-up ankle boots paired with sequin camouflage mini-dresses, and bullet-studded belts referenced military styles that gave a tough-girl look.
