Fanciful accents decorate some of the most capricious heels of fall ’14. Using all manner of feminine ornamentation, footwear took a charming fairy tale turn. Animated styles from Oscar Tiye and Charlotte Olympia had playful character. And René Caovilla, Manolo Blahnik and Roger Vivier each gave dainty pumps an ornate treatment with, respectively, bijoux embellishments, fur and rococo appliqués — all done in the sweetest of hues. While the point here was the allure of the fancifully unique, a splash of sugary pink united this trend.
