Designers went for more than a touch of glitter to entice consumers’ appetite for fall footwear. Bruno Frisoni added crystal studs to his classic bow evening sandals, while Coach went for day-to-night geisha-inspired platforms covered in sequins and topped with a bow. Stuart Weitzman even removed his heels from their regular casing, covering the spindle heels completely with delicate Swarovski crystals.
